I got the roof on the FB , I'll clean the outside and then cut the door in , I got a old from from a smoker so I'm going to change it to suit, I'll do a sketch soon ,

Clean and do door tomorrow, I got a old frame from a smoker today so I can modify it to suit me I'll take pics tomorrow

Bullet hinges work well and it's a lot easier than making them from scratch.

0.9 mm is pretty thin. And over a distance of the cooking racks could possibly sag and warp. I'd be looking at something around 1.5 to 2 mm minimum. And preferably larger, but larger stainless gets expensive very quickly.

Id be carefull with a weave...leaves lots of places for crude to hide. Stainless is nice but it only looks nice before the first cook and carbon steel will last just as long as a meat rack, in my opinion.

It’s taken me a lot longer then I had wanted but it’s going to be worth it , so today I modified the frame to suit me ,

I found some woven mesh to make some cooking racks I’ll post a few questions before I work out the tray racks

I prefer a smooth surface on my racks because q is so tender when finished some of it will stay on the racks if I can’t slide a spatula under it.
