That thing shouldn't leave the garage,and never a fire burned in it. SWEET!


Current Smokers: Backyard RF Offset and Hybrid RF Offset trailer rig with Cowboy cooker and fish fryer, always room for more........

Man, that thing is beyond awesome. As RC said, be a shame to use it and make it dirty...but that the same time it would be so cool to have tucker from that work of art. :kewl:

Have a question on rod vs expanded meteal for grates . I have to buy a full sheet of stainless expanded at a cost of $ 400.00 . Not sure if one or the othere works better for smoking ?

Either will work fine. You don't have to have to use stainless, regular mild steel will last a long time once it's seasoned but I don't doubt that you'll go the extra mile seeing all of the details that you've put into this build.

Stainless is overkill. It won’t stay shiny and new so no need to spend the extra money in my opinion. I’ve had standard carbon steel flat expanded grates on mine and use it pretty hard. They are 3 and 1/2 years old and still look and work great with absolutely no sign of wear on them.

Finished up the front axle truss . It should prevent any bending as I am anticipating a final weight of around 2000 lbs 🤞😁 .
