The six shelves are good to go. Stoppers and anti tip is all good now. I figure 24 butts or 36 slabs.

The shelves would be 4 inchs apart.

I wanted the extra realestate for ribs and then with one out it makes it nice for butts. Im thinking at least 24 butts per load.

And I just realized that I forgot to eat lunch today.

Does the whole 0 angle approach help with heat distribution? Must be an auger in there somewhere or else the fuel would just lay on top. I gotta say ... it's a miracle of modern physics ... :kewl: That there is why I'll never try to fabricate, I just don't have the imagination you guys do. Are your cooking grates textured to keep the slabs from sliding?

hehe all this grief from a guy who doesn't even own a grinder let alone a torch or welder :D

Lookin Good ST ... just the envy talking :kewl:

If it can't be smoked .... try frying it. It that don't work, it's probably best just left alone

LOL.

Well I'm decently happy with it. Light up at noon. One hour to hit 220. Shut her down to half a ball valve. She's been at 240 ish ever since.
