It's a couple bucks higher but I've been real impressed with Kingsford "Hickory".

Just tossing in my 2 cents. I start with half a bag of Kingsford laid out over my base logs. Fill the chimney to overflowing and fire that up. When I toss in the lit chimney I add whatever was left in the bag over the lit coals and add my other logs to get things going. I cook solely with wood after that but I have taken to keeping some homemade lump handy in case I miss judge the fire and things get too cool. That lump will revive my coal bed quicker than anything short of a can of diesel fuel, and the diesel just doesn't go with brisket.
If it can't be smoked .... try frying it. It that don't work, it's probably best just left alone

I am getting ready to try some new Lump that is just now hitting the US. it is made in Europe I think. I will post pics and a review when I get it!
I've heard about that European charcoal too. Isn't it called the Frankknowsaguy brand?
