Funny how I think about things. I made the smoker and sold it. I know the buyer so I wanted to do a really good job. I messed around with it and all I kept thinking about was all the crappy welds and hand made flaws. I knew it was going to work well because the test gave me a constant 225-250 for about 2 hours with minimal fuel. But it doesn't look pretty like the stainless steel webers at lowes and hd. Well I delivered it on a Saturday and got a phone call on Sunday. "This thing is awesome!!" Then I got pics of the food. "I just put it in there and let it go!"
Here I am all worried about spatter bb's and flaws and they are happier then ever. It warms my heart to see them satisfied with that cooker!

Awesome job on your new owners cooker.. its a constant worry when we see our flaws and think it will not turn ourn out, but when someone picks it up and uses it, its magic because the flaws we sweated over werent seen because really they weore just too small for others to seee... :LG:
