smoker insulating

Post by jayv » January 2nd, 2014, 4:04 pm

Built a rf this summer, 500 gal., my questions to you guys:

anyone know of any type of blanket or wrap to help with heat loss? Just looking to take edge off tank during smoke, it was
-3 this morning firing the beast up. One learns a ton smoking in the cold...

Some folks use welding blankets, I've heard. I haven't had that sort of problem myself, Florida and all.

By the way RC, you don't need to rub it in, it's a balmy 18 here now. :BDHorse:

BBQ is just smoke and beers!
Usually more beers than smoke.

If it can't be smoked .... try frying it. It that don't work, it's probably best just left alone

That's like the old days in Vermont. -20 was normal. In January of 1976, we beat out International Falls, MN and Gunnison, CO with a -54 . Now that I am near 60, I just can even think how that will feel I was 22 then

Make no mistake, there ain't no powder in this Puff ! And... I'm not really a crazy person but I play one in real life
