Got the tires an thermometers ordered them a coat of paint an she is I'm ] not a welder or fabricator but I'm learning ,

That should work nice. Is that an old Tornado axle on that trailer? I made a trailer 34 years ago with one of those, it is still going strong.

I'm impressed Rodcrafter ...you can tell from the photo what kind of axle that is?

Great color on the trailer by the way

The trailer was give to me so I'm not sure what it's from but it is a small car rear endothelial had 13 inch rims that were rusted out all I could find to fit is 12 inch rims

Puff, you and CRS have been spending to much time together. Lol when I get back to FL I'll send you a pic of my trailer and you will know how I guessed the axle.

I let my boy an his friend put the base coat on. I will finish it up on my next days off, started seasoning it built a small fire temp was even from side to side

Tgrimmett,

Imagine this. I've never even owned a smoker before or even cooked on one. I come to the site, buy a plan, spend 9 months trying to weld and trying to build it, with a trailer too....My first cook was 30 slabs of ribs and they were so spectacular, people are still talking about them being the best they ever had. This is like rolling the dice and coming up with the same number every single time. Those are amazing odds. Really amazing.

I will assume you will be really happy with it!
