Gravity feed cabinet smoker (smaller version)

Post by Tim Schmidt » September 9th, 2014, 3:25 pm

Hello, I would like to build a gravity feed smoker. I have not ordered the plans from Smokerbuilder.com yet. My concern is the size of the smoker on the plans. I only smoke for family and friends, not more than 3 buts, or 3 briskets maximum. Has anyone modified or downsized the cabinet size, or are there another set of plans available for a smaller size unit.
Thankyou

You can get a set of plans from Frank for any sort of smoker. Last year he had a nice smaller cabinet pellet driven rig but it could have had a GF feature.

Current Smokers: Backyard RF Offset and Hybrid RF Offset trailer rig with Cowboy cooker and fish fryer, always room for more........

I like that idea too. I would happily start another gravity feed build on a smaller scale.

Make no mistake, there ain't no powder in this Puff ! And... I'm not really a crazy person but I play one in real life

No need to try to mentally scale it down...There are tons of plans not yet published...so contact Frank and he will be able to get you on the right path....

If you can't fix it by sheer force or cursing......then it can't be fixed.....
