My wacky build

hi all! i am new to this website. what a great find! so much to learn here...

this is my first uds build. pretty typical, except that i ran the air intake out the bottom and up the side with square tube. of course, the top is a bit odd. it is an kettle top welded to the drum lid rim. also the fire basket is modified. i thought that if i put a trench through the side i could get more even distribution of air on the coals. seems work. i've made a lot of great food on this baby!
