Pit Barrel Cooker

anyone used the Pit Barrel Cooker or have thoughts on it? the big design changes are: the meat hangs from hooks, and the exhaust is minimal, through the holes cut in the side for the hanging rods (rebar). apparently it works well, but i am unsure about hanging the meat so close to the fire. it is a 30-gallon barrel...

At the end of the day it's a UDS. I've made hanging racks for mine and used them a few times but went back to the regular grate.

true enough. the other difference is that restricted exhaust...
