Learning generally boils down to "Repetition or the avoidance of pain", some people learn by doing, some by watching and some just have to pee on the electric fence.

My first project shall be a 250gal propane tank reverse flow smoker. Tried to talk the guy out of reverse flow because of efficiency reasons he said no. I said okay. just bought a ol hyster 60 in great condition (2563 original hrs) for all the heavy lifting. Been getting steel prices waiting for the go ahead to start.

The 250 tank makes a great reverse flow...don’t think I would even try to talk him out of it.

:yth: I'm pretty sure that there's a set of plans @ smokerplans.net if you want a tried and true design or you can use the calculator and design your own.
